It is more than a year since the FCA took over consumer credit authorisation and it is clear they are open-minded about their future approach to supervision, be it either the current principle based or a more prescriptive approach.
The FCA is consulting on proposed guidance to firms in dealing with vulnerable clients.
While this paper is mostly of relevance to Pension Providers, there are some implications for advisers.
