Product Enhancements & Content Management Updates

We completed the latest upgrade to ATEB Suitability on 27th May 2021. This update comes at no additional cost and provides various template & content management enhancements as well as performance improvements for data integration loading times.

Full details of the enhancements can be found in the tables below, but some of the highlights are:

Content Management – ‘Providers/Platforms’ library updated

Our library bank of provider/platform descriptive text has been revised to include up to date assets under management (AUM) figures.  In addition, following rebrands and mergers within the industry, we have made changes to the following providers/platforms:

  • Investec Asset Management now renamed Ninety One
  • Premier Asset Management now renamed Premier Miton

We have also added new descriptive text for the following mortgage provider within Content Management:

  • BM Solutions

The following changes have been scheduled to automatically take place, ready for a rebrand commencing on 14th June 2021:

  • Old Mutual Wealth to be renamed Quilter
  • Old Mutual Wealth Platform to be renamed Quilter Investment Platform

Improved Data Integration loading times

The data integration logic within the main Suitability Report template has been restructured to reduce the load time experienced when selecting from multiple integrated plans from within the Recommended Plans pages.

First Home Fund Scheme

For firms operating in Scotland, new functionality has been added to the Mortgage Details tab to accommodate ‘First Home Fund’ equity loan scheme recommendations. This includes a supporting set of Reasons, Disadvantages, and Risk Warnings.

Revised ‘Plan Charges’ table layout

Changes have been made to the layout and style of the Plan Charges tables within our main Suitability Report template.  The aim is to improve the readability of the tables and simplify their layout when used in conjunction with the ‘duplicate plans’ functionality.

Upgraded ‘Abridged Advice’ summary page

For firms operating within the DB transfer market, the wording and layout of the one page summary of our ‘Abridged Advice’ template has been reworked to further assist firms in meeting all of the rule requirements and making explicit what the client is agreeing to.

Upgraded ‘IHT Current Position’ table calculations

When calculating a client’s current IHT position and outlining any transferrable Nil Rate Band (NRB) available on a Joint (last survivor) basis, the table will now also calculate any transferable Residential Nil Rate Band (RNRB) available to the client.  In addition, the RNRB figure applicable will automatically be reduced by £1 for every £2 the ’Net Estate Value’ figure exceeds £2 million.
