We have completed the latest upgrade to ATEB Suitability on 27th October 2021. This update comes at no additional cost and provides various template enhancements.
Full details of the enhancements can be found in the tables below, but some of the highlights are:
Upgraded ‘Agreed Objectives & Priorities’ section
For firms who prefer to capture client objectives via free text rather than using ATEB standardised wording, we have added a new ‘Personalised free text format’ option. This will allow firms to add any number of free text objective headings and descriptions of their choice.
Upgraded ‘Summary of Advice’ section
The ‘Summary of Advice’ section has been upgraded, to include both paragraph and bullet point free text. The paragraph text can be used as an introduction to the bullet points or as a standalone paragraph.
New ‘Assets & Liabilities’ and ‘Income & Expenditure’ tables added
A new option – ‘Summary of the Client(s) Current Financial Circumstances’ has been added to the ‘Current Personal & Financial Circumstances’ section. On selection, firms will be prompted to complete an Assets & Liabilities and Income & Expenditure table on either a single or joint basis.
New formatting functionality added for risk profile images
For firms who have added their own risk profiles (and corresponding images) centrally to the Content Management area, it is now possible to choose whether the risk image sits to the right of the risk description within the generated document or below it. Please note – if the risk profile image spans half the width of an A4 page or more, it is recommended that you select the ‘Below’ option to avoid the risk image been compressed on the page.
Important Note: ‘Continued Suitability Review Letter (Legacy)’
Following the notice provided within our April 2021 bulletin, the ‘Continued Suitability Review Letter (Legacy)’ template will be removed from the system on 14th November 2021. Please note – the Continued Suitability Letter will still be available to all users via the ‘Periodic Suitability Review Report/Letter’. We encourage all firms to cease using the legacy template as soon as possible.
